I was relocated w/ a full relocation package & w/in 7 mths was laid off w/ a perfect performance review. Former house never sold due to housing crunch
Question Details: Since house never sold and company wouldn't allow short sale with them as purchaser, they used my old house as a corporate rental. Do I have any other recourse?

Depending on how it was set up, you could argue that this lay off was an "act of God", as you did not see this coming, and try to re-coup something from any severance, if any, that was given to you.
