What to do if I was let go from my coaching position at a high school due to false information that can be proven to be false?
Question Details: I am a 54 year old female who was a varsity basketball coach coach at a high school. My position was opened due to false information that can be proven to be false. This was told to me by a third party. The school never gave me an explanation. I did nothing wrong. I devoted countless hours to the program, started a rec league, travel league for the elementary kids. Parents publicly said I stole money and ruined the league before they had the financial report and the true facts. Is this called public humiliation and slander? was released without just cause. Most players wanted me back.
