I was legally separated in 1977 and divorced in 1981. My ex has a joiner on his retirement and wants me to waive my rights to it. Am I entitled?

I would need to see what your divorce decree says.  I would assume that it set forth what was going to happen to the retirement.  Typically, the community interest was only up until the time of separation, so I don't know what the community value would be without more information.
