Question: Auto Accidents - Florida

i was involved in a car wreck. my ex was supposed to carry car insurance on me for the rest of the year. but he canceled now i'm being sued.
they want to garnish my wages for this? i make 200.00 a week an i'm a single parent what can i do..i'm living on nothing now an cant afford nothing help me please

As a head of household in Florida, your wages are exempt from garnishment.  Let the judge know that your are a single parent and the judge should not allow the garnishment.
