I was in a car accident and I was hit from the back but I wasn't wearing a seat belt. Am I still entitled to my claim?

Your personal injury claim is valid, but the amount you recover will be less because not wearing a seatbelt will be construed as negligence.  The rationale is that your injuries would have been less serious if you had been wearing a seatbelt.
