I was fired yesterday for "talking on the job" but I never received any kind of warning written or verbal?

If you did not have an employment agreement or contract, including a union or collective bargaining agreement or contract, you are an employee at will. An employee at will may be fired at an time, for any reason, without prior notice or warning. Therefore, unless you had a contract protecting your job or setting out some process which must be followed for discipline or termination, you may be fired without warning for talking on the job.
