Can I appeal my unemployment denial due to relocation?

I was denied unemployment benifits because I quit my job due to relocating with my husband out-of-state. Could I win my appeal?

Typically, most states will allow for benefits to be paid for such an unemployment claim under these circumstances.  The reasoning is that encouraging relocation with a spouse helps to preserve a couple's marriage and keep it intact.  Of course, much will depend on the specific facts of the case.  Without more details of your situation it's hard to say.  What I can tell you is that such a denial is unusual.  At this point, you may want to consult with an employment attorney.  Even if you choose not to retain them, at lease an initial consultation might be well worth your while.
