DUI / DWI Law Answers

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  the court is not likely going to transfer the case as that county has no real interest in prosecuting you since the crime did not occur on their turf so to speak.  I suggest hiring a lawyer in that area that goes to court often as they are likely friendly with the people that matter.  I suggest that you hire a lawyer to appear for you the first time you have to go to court.  There may be programs that you are not aware of that you can take to have the dui dismissed upon successful completion of some alcohol education classes.
