If I was at a massage parlor getting a massage 6 months ago and it recently was raided when I was not there, what is my exposure?
Question Details: I had a massage 6 months ago. It was recently raided but I was not there at the time. They said they have video of license plates and people outside only. I did not pay for sex; I only had a massage, Do I have any exposure?
If you were not arrested during the raid and actually caught in the act, then I seriously doubt if you will face any criminally liability. The police and or prosecutor would need probable cause to believe that a crime had been committed, and that you were the person who committed the crime. Without you being there and being caught in the act as a patron of the establishment, then I would say the police lack probable cause to arrest you. If you were the owner or business partner of the establishment then this would be different, regardless if you were there or not there when the arrests were made.
