Unless--
1) you had an employment agreement, including union or collective bargaining agreement setting out the grounds or process for termination
2) there was a clearly worded, publicly known, and consistently followed policy about termination and discripline that employees worked subject to, such as spelled out in an employee handbook, or
3) there was impermissible discrimination against you, such as actions taken because of your race, religion, gender, etc.
--there is basically no such thing as "wrongful termination." In the absence of a contract, a very clear and consistently followed termination process in the employee handbook (which then basically forms a contract), or discrimination, employees may be fired at any time, for any reason.

Are you a lawyer?
