I was a passanger in an automobile accident. I want to sue the other driver not the driver from the vehicle I was in. Can I, without sueing my driver?

Who was at fault?  If the other driver, you would pursue that owner/driver. If the driver of your vehicle was at fault you would pursue the owner of that vehicle's car. Also, may depend on the limits of the other driver's insurance policy.
