I want to no if I can sue my ex-boyfriend now for pain & suffering?

Question Details:

We were together 2 yrs 6 mths; he mislead me, manipulated me, made a fool of me, made promises to me and my kids. He lied about getting a divorce. He was incarcerated just came home when I put it all together. He had me looking for houses; we even went to one in Haddon Twp. I put money on his books, took back and forth to work, took him grocery shopping, washed his clothes, etc. He played me, hurt me, I lost 4 pounds already. I can't sleep.

Unfortunately, the pain and suffering of being misled romantically is not actionable; you can't sue for it. If he defrauded you economically--got you to loan him money which he was supposed to repay, but which he didn't; or took out credit cards in your name; or used your credit cards w/out your permission--you may sue for that.
