When is someone considered to be a landlord under the law?
Question Details: What are the laws regarding the return of a security deposit. I rented a condo in a building housing a total of eight condos, all individually owned. I have not received an itemized list from the owner stating any repair costs, if any. I have sent certified letters to the owner with no response. Does it matter the owner only owns one condo in the building or is the law only for someone who owns 5 or more units?
