How can I probate a will after 5 years because I received the will 3 years later?
Question Details:
I received a will 2 years after the death of my sibling and now the 5 years are up to probate the will but I still want to probate it.
Good afternoon:
Unfortunately the statute of limitations is set in this type of matter. Now at this point I do not know of any loop holes to help you get into probate. What I would suggest is consulting with a local attorney who specializes in this area of law. if there are any loop holes once you have explained why there was the hold up they will be able to advise you. In general without the specifics i cannot tell you of anyway to get around the set time frame. however if there is a way a local specialized attorney would know.
Thank you for your inquiry i hope i was able to offer some assistance. Good luck and come back for additional help anytime.
