I received the wrong medication from a Walgreens pharmacy. Would this be avalid case.

Possibly. If the prescription was written correctly but the pharmecy dispensed the wrong medicine, you may have a claim against them. However, one big issue is, were you injured or hurt? Either by the medicine, or by *not* having the medication you were supposed to. The legal system compensates people for their injuries or losses. If you were, I hope, not actually injured, there is nothing to sue over--you may be legally in the right, and the pharmecy in the wrong, but you won't collect anything. (You could always bring the problem to the attention of Walgreens' corporate office and see if they will comp you in some way.)
