What to do if I received a summons from a debt collector but I don't know who they are or who they are representing?

the Complaint attached to the summons should have that information.  you also have the right to do discovery from the plaintiff in the case to get info.  remember if you do nothing , they can take a judgment in 20 days and then collect from you. you will likely need a lawyer for this
