I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. If you are arrested while on the diversion program, you will be kicked out of the program and be made to face both charges. you will not be able to use the program and will likely have to plead to both crimes resulting in you having a criminal record. I suggest that you make sure that you do not do anything wrong or place yourself in a bad situation.
