I need to know if I have grounds for an anullment ?.
Question Details: I have been married for 3 yrs, and have yet to consummate that marriage. And I have reason to believe he married me because I had money.
You would need to allege some fraud that you only became aware of within the last 90 days to qualify and that is difficult to prove (whether the fraud is that he never intended to cosummate the marriage or was incapable of doing so or the fraud is that he was marrying you for your money). You should consult with an attorney on this matter.
It's possible, but there's a problem. I'm not a Kentucky lawyer, but my research indicates that you could claim that your husband got you to marry him fraudulently, never intending to consummate the marriage (or, possibly, concealing an inability to consummate). However, it also looks like you have to file for an annulment within 90 days of discovering the grounds for the annulment.
Please, talk to a local attorney as soon as possible. He or she will be able to review the detailed facts of your situation, and give you reliable advice for the best way to get out of this marriage.
