I need info on government programs that work with companies to hire felons. How do I find out
Question Details: I have a felony for uttering and publishing. I understand that the government works with companies to hire felons. The government gives them tax breaks at years end. I still have 2.5 years before I can get this expunged. How do I find out about these programs? The web does not say anything about how to go about doing this just what they offer these employers.

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. I suggest that you contact a local prison and ask to speak to one of the probation officers and ask them to provide you with the lest of companies that hire felons. I am aware of programs like this but do not know which companies there are to direct yout cal in your state. I suggest calling the board of pardons as they may be able to give you some direction or you can call your probation officer. I would tap these sources.
