I'm married and the only thing in my name is co-signer on our home loan. Is it possible to file bankruptcy alone and it not effect the house?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law.  Yes, you may file BK and not have to list the home.  I suggest that you hire a lawyer to help you with the BK filing to make sure that you keep the home separate.  Plus, you may have other items that you arenot aware of that can be discharged.
