DUI - defense
Question Details:
I'm bi-polar, became manic during a med change, and got my 3rd DUI in 10 years. Can I use mental health as defense? Request house arrest?

I am a lawyer in CT and pracrtice in this area of the law. The mental health defense will not be a good defense as you have a driver's license and are requird to obide by the laws. I suggest that you hire a lawyer to negotiate a deal. DUI is taken very seriously in every state. You are looking at jail time and the lawyer should be able to help you.
