I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. If you fail to make payment the credit card company will file a lawsuit against you and be able to garnish your wages and take money from your bank account. I suggest talking to a debt consolidation company or a lawyer to help you get on a payment plan to reduce the debt and make payments you can afford.
