I live in Texas and am being subpeonaed for a case in Arizona. The Lawyer faxed a copy of the subpeona to me. They want to pay for my flight.

Question Details: When I live in AZ I worked at an automotive shop and a regular customer came in and asked me for a reciept for work he had had done in January. This was about march or april. I remember him being there just not the specific date. He said he needed it for his car warranty. I later recieved a subpenoa from his lawyer and he called me to tell me he lied about needing the reciept that he was using it for an aliby. i told his lawyer what had happened and he dropped me as a witness (in July 08) Now I am being called as a witness for the prosecutor. Could I be in trouble?

Just tell the truth.... and make sure the prosecutor sends you a subpoena.  You may want to consult an Arizona lawyer.
