I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. You will know from the court papers that are sent to you as to the date of the sale. this is published in th newspaper and provided to you. Once you know this date I would let the tenants know that this is the date they should plan to move out or vacate the premises, presuming that they are in month to month leases.
