I live and work in Alaska. Can my wages be garnished by creditors from any where in the country.

Yes, your out-of-state creditors can garnish your wages. If they obtain a judgement outside of Alaska they can "domesticate it". That is the legal process by which a civil judgement becomes recognized as lawful by a state other than the one that issued it.
