Will I go to jail?
Question Details:
I kicked my mom's car and dented it a little. Can I go to jail for that or can I just pay for the damage?

Although I do not practice law in the State of Indiana, here are my initial impressions. If your mother reports the incident to the police, you may be arrested for a crime such as destruction of property. Unless you are on probation, however, it is very unlikely that you will go to jail for this type of conduct. Unless your mother is really irate and unreasonable, I suggest trying to work this out amicably with her. Good luck.
