Worker's comp denied

Question Details:

I hurt myself at work and works comp denied it. The doctors diagnosed it as spontaneous pneuthorax versus tramtic pneumthorax secondary to his job. I'm wondering why I'm being denied and if there is a case?

Personal Injury Law Answers

Your claim was denied because the "spontaneous" diagnosis is indicative of a pre-existing condition which  could have been triggered by a cause other than the work injury.  In order to support your claim, you would need to have a medical report from another doctor that the work injury was the cause of your condition.
