Unless you are a convicted felon, you are free to keep your firearms at your house or a relative's home. However, if your relative is a convicted felon, he/she would be arrested if law enforcement discovers firearms in his/her residence. Once an individual is convicted of a felony, the convicted felony may not possess or have any firearms in his/her home or motor vehicle, or in his/her possession.
