Although I do not practice law in the State of Oregon, here are my initial impressions.  Based upon your local jurisdiction, law enforcement may eventually come looking for you when they are doing a sweep for people with outstanding warrants.  Or, you will eventually be picked up by law enforcement during a routine traffic stop, or some other type of incident.  Either way, you'll constantly be looking over your shoulder, and its just a matter of time until you are forced to face this charge.  I suggest that you hire an attorney to help you arrange for your surrender and to develop a strategy to resolve this matter favorably.  Good luck.
