I have a speeding ticket and I have no transportation to get there, how can I postpone?

Certain courts will only give a certain amount of adjournments or postponements of court dates.  Do you have an attorney for this matter?  It may be wise to get one that is in close proximity to the courthouse.  You will still have to appear but at least you will have someone to go for the time being, especially if you have a defense.

I don't think you have much choice but to find a way to get there.  If the court does not grant the adjournment and you do not appear then they can possibly issue a warrant for your arrest.  Although most states do not actively work on the warrants (in other words come out and look for you) why live under constant fear that you will be stopped possibly for something silly and arrested and thrown in jail?   Get help.  Good luck.
