If I have a good video of a major car accident involving 4 vehicles, should I hold onto it?
Question Details:
Lawyers and insurance companies are already calling for a copy. Should I hold out to see if it's worth something? This one lawyer keeps calling begging me for it.
If you have a video tape showing major car accident which is evidence necessary to the lawsuit that most likely will originate or already has, it is very important that you hold onto the tape.
Potentially law enforcement may want the tape as well. It would be a foolish thing for you to destroy the tape in that potentially a claim could be made against you for intentional spoilation of evidence.
You very well could be subpoenaed to provide the tape for a legal proceeding.
