I have a beneficiary whose Mom has passed away in MD. She lives in FL and is 74 years old she cannot travel. How can she set up a Small Estate.

Question Details: She is financially strapped as well and cannot afford to pay an attorney. Is there help in MD for her? Please try to point me in the right direction to help this woman. I work for a financial firm and don't know the laws for MD.

I hope that this was posted where MD attorneys can respond.  If your friend is hoping to prepare an estate plan, she should speak with an estate planning attorney.  Some may even travel to her if she is unable to leave the house.  If she would like a recommendation for a MD attorney, please have her call me at 617-357-4898.
