I have 3 DUIs
Question Details: In the last 6 months I have been arrested 3 times for DUI, all in different counties....LA, Riverside and San Bernardino. I have only been to court for one of them and my lawyer pled no contest. How will the counties connect with each other to find out? How will I deal with 3 subsequent convictions if the punishment overlaps such as jail time? Does it matter that I have brain cancer?

I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. Having brain cancer will not relieve you of fault. the courts may not know about the other; however, they usually do. therefore, you should try to get your lawyer to consolidate the cases to one court locate and make a plea bargain that resolves all of them and if you have to do jail time, you can run the sentences concurrently. Ask you lawyer about this.
