Will I ever be able to get a non-personal felony expunged from my record?
Question Details: I have 3 DUI's which I have served a year in jail for. This gave me a non-personal felony here in my state. I was released almost 2 1/2 years ago and have had no contact with the law since.
I suggest that you consult with a criminal defense attorney about the chances of an expungement of your felony as well as the costs. Most courts require at least a five (5) year period before someone files a motion to expunge a crime and then looks to see the reasons for such and what the person has done post conviction as part of the decision making process.
