If I had a pre-paid plan with a chiropractor but he has moved away without notifying me, can I sue for a reimbursement?
Question Details:
I want to get the money for all the appointments I have left.
If you had a written agreement with your chiropractor for a series of treatments, you paid the money for all treatments, but did not receive all that you paid for, potentially you can sue the chiropractor for reimbursement of the treatments you did not receive.
Before doing so, perhaps tracking down your former chiropractor and asking for the refund of monies for treatment you did not get would be easier than suing him or her in that the chiropractor may voluntarily send you the check for the amount owed.
If you cannot find the chiropractor or he or she will not voluntarily refund you the money owed, perhaps contacting the state board of chiropractors and lodge a complaint against him or her.
Good luck.
