I got rear ended and have no major injuries but am kind of sore, I have no health insurance will my/the other persons insurance cover a check up?

Question Details: I got rear ended while at a stop light today (Saturday 10/24). I have no major injuries but feel sore and want to get checked out, but I dont have health insurance right now. If I go to the doctors will the auto insurance company reinburse me for the doctors bill? And if for some reason they don't is it possible to sue for the money even if the doctors tell me I am fine?
