Question Details: I received paperwork to fill out for a no fault divorce but on them it says under my husbands address that he lives in PA and he lives in another state how can I change that on my paper work do I just white out the print or must I get an attorney to type me new papers?
I'm not sure where you got this paperwork, or who filled in your husband's address. Your first option should be to try and get whoever did this to fix it.
If the papers haven't been filed with the court, you should be able to white this out, carefully, and fix it, then photocopy the corrected complaint form and sign that as the original. Many court clerks don't like original papers with "original" whiteout, because it opens up awkward possibilities, mostly about when the whiteout was done.
