I filed bankruptcy and a creditor deposited my check after the notice what can I do?

Bankruptcy Law Answers

Make your bankruptcy Trustee aware of this.  If your creditor was in receipt of the automatic stay then they can be held in contempt of court; they can be fined and their claim can be dismissed.  If, however, it was just a matter of things crossing in the mail then they will simply be instructed have to return any money paid.
