I fell at grocery store.. I put bills on my personal insurance. Should I call my insurance and give them THEIR (stores) information?
Question Details: I was walking in Jewel and slipped. on a large puddle of water near water machine. Some people helped me up and I talked to assit. manager. Told him I hurt and will go to emergency room. Took xrays said looked like bruised or jammed my arm. Have gone to my orthopedic and knows I hurt it but not sure yet. Give time then Mri is next. Do I have B/CB/s send all the bills to Jewels insurance??
Submit the bills to your insurance company that may have a lien to be paid back, if you pursue a personal injury claim against the store. A letter should be sent to the store, putting them on notice of your claim, so that they will contact their insurance company, who may call you, and to who you should not give a statement to until represented.
