If I designed a logo that was used by someone without permission for personal use on a trophy, is a cease and desist letter reasonable action?
Question Details: I am a professional graphic designer. The logo was designed for an organization. I am affiliated with and the logo was used by someone outside of the organization without permission/ All I want is the removal of the logo from the trophy and to prevent future issues from occurring by setting a precedent.

Yes. The logo is a trademark owned by you. Noone should use it without your permission. You should send a letter demanding removal. Also, consider registering it in PTO.
