I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. You are not married to your boyfriend and therfore, you are not going to be entitled to any of his belongings. Your boyfriend's parents are going to get his belongings if he does not have a will. if your boyfriend has a will and he gives you items in his will before his folks, then you can get the items he gives you.
