Due I have to pay child support for a child that is not mine?

Question Details:

I signed papers to bring my ex from Russia. She divorced me after she got her green card; she got alimony and now she is asking for child support.  However, the child is not mine but was part of the immigration. Can she ask for support for a child that's not mine and she is getting support from her first husband?

What do you mean when you say that the child was "part of the immigration"? Did you claim the child as your own for purposes of enabling your ex-spouse to immigrate from Russia? Generally speaking, no, you are not responsible for the support of a child which is not yours either biologically or legally. This assumes that you did not adopt the child or officially claim the child as your own for purposes of enabling your ex-spouse to get her green card.
