What to do if I am trying to settle on a car accident that was not my fault?
Question Details: My health insurer has paid some bills already (physician bill and chiropractor). When they throw the offer at you and it includes the things already paid for by the health insurance what do you do with that money?

generally your health insurer is entitled to get back money it paid for your medical bills out of any settlement. so you should include med bills, lost income and pain and suffering in your demand. a lawyer knows how to do this.
