If I am only seperated from my wife and I build or buy a house, can she get the house?

So long as you are legally separated from your spouse and the assets used to purchase the home that you are writing about or want to build are either your separate property or are assets acquired post separation, then under the laws of all states in this country your spouse has no interest in what is acquired post separation.
