If I am currently on a misdemeanor probation and I am supposed to leave the country to go to Mexico with family for a week, should I go?
Question Details:
The judge denied my motion to allow me to leave the country. The thing is that my name is slightly misspelled in the case. Does that make a difference?

If the judge has denied your request to leave the country, and you still leave, I can all but guarantee you that you will be going to jail. A simple name misspelling does not change the fact that you are on probation and was ordered not to leave.
