Bankruptcy Law Answers

It's always good to try to settle out of court if you can. You can do this yourself, but an experienced attorney will be able to help you. (Many attorneys will give you a free or low cost initial consultation.)

If you can show an inability to pay, you may be able to get the card issuer to either accept less than full payment, or at leasat to stretch out payment long enough that you can meet your obligations.
