If I am a J1 student graduating next month, how can I permanently stay in the US?
Question Details: My boyfriend and I want to get married. Can I do that? Or can I change to an F1 visa? I also want to continue studying.

If you marry a US citizen, you will have the right to stay, work and study. You will need to prove the bona fide relationship and will receive a 2 year green card.
