How too get off sex offender registry?

My husband was convicted of statutory rape 15 yrs ago. He served time and has been out for 10 years. Is there any way to take his name off of the sex offender registry?

He would need to get his conviction overturned or be pardoned by the governor.  Otherwise, he has a life-time registration in Texas.
