How to fight adverse possession?
Question Details:
My parents quit claimed some land to me. The land is not accessible by road;it is in an undeveloped area. I received a notice of adverse possession. When I got my latest tax bill there is someone else's name on the tax bill. When I went to pay the taxes, they were already paid presumably by the person trying to take this property from me. What can I do to protest this and obtain a clear title to this land?
