How long does the procicution have before charging me with dui?

Question Details: I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I ran a stop sign and caused an accident 2 other people were hurt but will recover. I also sub stained multiple injuries. I don't remember a Breathalyzer being given. I had con summed 3 drinks about 2 hrs prior to the accident. It was the first t When I went for a check up with my doctor she told me I tested positive for alcohol but no amount was given. I have not heard from the police at all since the accident. Just sitting on pins and needles waiting for them to come and arrest me. What if any action should I take? I was insured. Thank You, Barbara Van
